I travelled more than 1,250 miles . to get a dental problem fixed with Steven Burchell. I live in Benllech, on the Isle of Anglesey and endured two years of oral trouble. Finding the specialist treatment I received in Dudley has been such a relief and worth every last mile. My wife's mother lives in Pedmore and during a visit we saw an advertisement in a local newspaper for Steven's clinic.
**I live for the outdoors. I was a former Royal Marine for nine years and still go rock climbing and caving, but my teeth were causing me problems. During one of my postings we almost lived on citrus fruit and the acid in the pineapples eroded the enamel on my teeth. It was one of the better postings but the legacy resulted in teeth problems.
** Subsequently, I had some treatment some years ago but it was not satisfactory. Finding the specialist treatment I have received in Dudley has been such a relief.
**With the five visits to see Mr Burchell I will have covered over 1,250 miles, but my experience has been totally professional.
**I managed the Llanrug Outdoor Education Centre on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park for 30 years, retiring at 62. I don't miss having to go on expeditions in the pouring rain or putting on wet clothes, but I do keep active and love the mountains in Wales. Getting my problems resolved so efficiently has been excellent.

It’s the first time . in more than 20 years I have been able to enjoy a pain-free meal out and choose whatever I want off the menu without fear of embarrassing myself. I had badly fitting false teeth and my mouth was always full of ulcers.
**I was never happy with my dentures and for more than 20 years couldn't really eat the food I wanted. I would go out and look longingly at a piece of juicy steak, but always ended up ordering soft foods like mince dishes or fish.

Just like Hilda I was very conscious of talking to people – and I like to talk – and the fact that my dentures moved around. It's a real problem that affects hundreds of people, but most just put up with it. I did for more than 20 years.

I was tired of eating mush. As a girl growing up I can remember seeing women talking with hands in front of their mouths. In those days there wasn't the dental care, but I was just like that. It took five consultations to sort me out and every round trip was 240 miles, but it was worth every one of them.

My teeth look natural and I can eat anything now.
